The World Dance Day has always received a warm welcome in KDB Public School. This year also, the school has displayed the colours of patriotism at the dancing stage of the school by organizing ‘Vibration-2019’ with the theme of National Symbols of India. Around ten prominent schools of Delhi-NCR with their well prepared teams, enthusiastic mentors, lively props brought forth the well researched subject. Mrs. Rinki Sharma- versatile Kathak Dancer and Mrs. Priya Gambhir – the contemporary dancer and a Yoga Guru were the judges. The entire programme had a systematic series of power packed items. The lighting of lamp and a welcome dance marked the beginning of the show. This special day with schools like Dayawati Modi Academy,various branches Dehradun Public School, Indirapuram Public School, Ch. Chhabil Das Public School added a unique importance to the symbols of national identity. The welcome dance and the depiction of Ashoka Chakra through dance and music placed the host school-KDB in the ranks of highest dancing sensation. The audience, judges and young learners all praised the performance. The judges, in their review, admired the practice pattern and the devotion of teachers and students in giving dance a new recognition. The principal of the school- Mrs. Nivedita Rana in her address seemed elated. She also emphasized the fact the that positive transformation in the society lies in the positive attitude and dedication of young generation for any form of art.
