Delfite Snigdha Sethi has been rewarded the Pedagogical Exchange Services Germany (PAD) Scholarship by Goethe Institute, Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi. She is one among the 10 students who are selected from India to travel to Germany on a Scholarship Programme. Around 450 participants from about 90 countries have been selected for this study visit on the basis of their outstanding performance in German language. The International Award Programme gave her an opportunity to closely live up the life of a German school student. During her stay she got a chance to visit the cities of Bonn, Cologne, Berlin and Munich and also visited youth and sports events, a German University, museums and other cultural institutions, as well as cultural activities. Snigdha Shares, ‘At DLF, each one of us get innumerable opportunities to grow as global citizens. I am glad I could make it to such a prestigious award as PAD’s International Award Programme that connects people and allows countries and cultures to grow together, ’ Expressing her delight on this achievement, Executive Director of School Dr. Mrignaini said, ‘With participation in School Exchange Programmes, individuals greatly develop their technical, linguistic and intercultural, as well as their personal skills’.
