GHAZIABAD. DLF Public School celebrated Children’s day with a difference spreading the message of amity and compassion. The day was celebrated with gaiety and fervour with all activities attuned to kindle compassion and values in Delfites. An enterprising welcome awaited the children on the occasion with the teachers making the day more special and joyous for them, organising events full of surprises, fun and frolic. Students of the school immersed themselves in spirit, engaging in numerous fun-filled value based activities which included a Magical show, Storytelling by the storyteller Sanjay Matoo, fun-races for tiny-toddlers. The leaders of the school guild organised team games involving students and ‘Apney Children’, a group of less privileged children adopted by the school. The school dance group performed at a specially organised cultural event by Akashvani, ‘Muskaan 2018’, a platform that encourages budding artists. Executive Director of the school, Dr. Mrignaini shared, ‘Our children are our greatest treasure. They are the future. We are working to make hearts that know how to love this world!’. Emphasising the importance of developing compassion in children, Principal Seema Jerath said that kind and compassionate children tend to have more positive connections with their peers, higher academic achievement and a greater sense of happiness.
