Children’s Day celebrated in KDB SCHOOL

GHAZIABAD. K.D.B Public School celebrated Birthday of First prime Minster Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru- ‘Children’s day’ with a great zeal. The Pre Primary and Primary wing organized various activities for students. As Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru was a nature lover, the students of Primary wing took a resolution to save and respect their environment and they also took a pledge to plant a tree every year on their birthday. Teachers conducted a special assembly for the students. ‘Passing the parcel’ game was also conducted wherein teachers performed various tasks given to them. Word, thought, fact related to children’s day was also given by teachers. Lucky draw gifts were also given to the students by the Principal Mrs. Nivedita Rana. The whole programme was followed by a magic show by Mr. Prem Singh from the Red Cross Society. The children enjoyed the programme  performed by their teachers. The Pre Primary wing also had a special prayer after which they were told about Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. They also played various games like balloon race, musical chairs. Teachers also sang various songs for them. At the end they were given a rose painted on their hands as a takeaway for the day as it was Pt. Nehru’s favorite flower. At the end, Vice Principal, Mrs. Namrata Dubey , encouraged the students to be environment friendly and thus grow up as responsible citizens of our country.
